Veterinarians
Dr. Fisher grew up in California, where he and his brother raised turtles in their backyard.
During college he worked at two veterinary hospitals, one a small two-doctor practice and the other a large
24-hour hospital. Eventually his love of turtles led him to complete a Master’s degree in Biology.
In 2001, Dr. Fisher moved to the Midwest to attend the College of
Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin. Following a visit to see his brother in Seattle,
Dr. Fisher decided to move to the Northwest after graduation. Dr. Fisher joined our team in June 2005.
He and his wife, Dr. Kristin Wrycha, recently bought a house in the Ballard area, where they live with their French Bulldog Wilson, 3 kitties, 2 bunnies,
a guinea pig, and several baby turtles. |
