Dr. Baker joined Lien Animal clinic in June of 2018.  While earning her BS in Ecology and MS in Wildlife Conservation at the University of Arizona, she worked as a veterinary assistant in both private practice (with an emphasis on dogs, cats, reptiles, and amphibians) and at zoos (with an emphasis on reptiles and amphibians).  Although she loved conservation biology and got to work in beautiful places with amazing animals and people, she decided that if there was one career she wanted to pursue more than any other, it was in veterinary medicine, so she returned to school and earned her DVM from Washington State University in 2017.  She is passionate about wildlife conservation and in her free time loves to paint, hike, play her violin, and spend time with her dog and two cats.
